Columns/Series
Columns/Series help you organize and compare information visually or in a table. In worksheets, columns run vertically and group similar data, like names or dates. In charts, a series is a set of related data points that represent values for specific categories—such as bars, segments, or points—making it easier to see differences and trends in your data across various types of charts.
The term Columns appears in worksheets and KPI, while Series appears in charts, pies, doughnuts, funnels, maps, tree maps, word cloud, and sparklines.
Any Dimensions, Measures and/or Description can be added to the Columns or Series section. A minimum of one field is required in the Columns section to create a valid view.
