Vector Maps Design Properties
Properties specific to vector maps are described below. For general configuration options, see Generic Views Properties, which apply to all view types.
To access these properties, first create or open a vector map view. Then, from the Toolbar panel on the right, select Vector Map Properties and open the Design tab.
Style
Color
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Background | Set the background color of the map display area. This color appears behind all country or region shapes. |
| Low Scale | Select the color that represents the lowest data values in your dataset. Used to create a gradient in the map and legend. |
| High Scale | Select the color that represents the highest data values. The map fills regions with a gradient between Low Scale and High Scale. |
Show Region Labels

| Color | Select the color for region label text shown on the map. |
Legend
Show Legend
Show or hide the legend on the map to help interpret marker colors, values, or classifications.
Tooltips
Region Details
Select up to five fields—Field 1 through Field 5—to show in tooltips when hovering over a region or marker.
