Save and Save As Options

The Save and Save As options let you save your current view or create a copy under a different ID. You can choose to save structural changes, the data itself, or both—while customizing options such as the view name, access permissions, and whether filters should be applied when opening.

Save a visualization

  1. Open the view you want to save.
  2. In the Toolbar panel, click the save icon and select Save.
  3. In the dialog, fill out the necessary fields based on your needs.
  4. Click Confirm to save the view. The structure of the view and any unsaved changes will be preserved.
note

You cannot overwrite a document you did not originally create.

Save a visualization as a new file

  1. Open the view you want to save as a new file.
  2. In the Toolbar panel, click the save icon and select Save As.
  3. In the dialog, fill out the necessary fields based on your needs.
  4. Click Confirm to save the new view with the specified settings.

Save and Save As properties

The Save and Save As dialogs are identical to the Properties dialogs of a visualization. The main difference is that the save functions also retain any changes made to the visualization itself, in addition to its properties.
