Drill Down Wizard
The Drill Down Wizard lets you view detailed information about a SEI formula or a measure in a data extraction. It takes all filters used for a NECFORMULA or data extraction, and creates a table with the selected fields. If multiple formulas exist in a field, you can choose which one to drill into.
You can access the Drill Down Wizard from the Analysis tab of a workbook.
When to use the Drill Down Wizard
-
Detailing profiles for easy analysis: Use drill-down profiles to define the level of detail you want to display. You can assign a different profile to each formula and create multiple profiles for the same data model. Profiles are included in the import/export template.
For example, you can create one profile to break down formula results by document number and ledger posting, and another to show ledger postings for each department.
Drill Down Wizard vs. Drill Down button
Use the following table to understand the differences between the Drill Down Wizard and the Drill Down button:

| Drill Down button | Apply an existing profile | Opens a side panel and applies a profile to a field. If no profile exists for the selected field, no drill down is available. |
Create a drill down

- Copy the drill down table to a new sheet by clicking .
- Toggle filters by clicking .
If your data model includes hyperlinks, you can access them from the Drill Down tool. These hyperlinks open in a new browser window and remain functional even if you copy the drill down table to a new sheet.
Create a drill down with multiple formulas in a cell
