Secure Central Point Configurator
For security and proper system operation, changes to SMTP settings, database users, or passwords must be made through the Central Point Configurator. Setting the correct account ensures the Central Point Configurator can fully manage settings, update credentials, and write changes without permission errors.
To allow the Configurator to record changes, you must ensure it has permission to write to the Central Point location. This involves updating the identity for both the CPConfiguratorPool and WebServerPool in IIS.
