Sage Intacct

The Sage Intacct template provides a ready-to-use set of views, dashboards, reports, and workbooks. Choose the installation approach that best suits your organization's environment. Optionally, you can add custom fields into SEI in a separate step after the initial installation.

After installation, explore the predefined analyses available in the Sage Intacct template. See Predefined Analyses for details on available views, dashboards, reports, and workbooks.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have:

  • Sage Intacct: A supported version installed.
  • Destination database: A target database, preferably matching your Sage Intacct database collation.
  • DataSync: A supported version installed.
  • Installation package: The latest package downloaded from ShareFile.

Installation scenarios

Choose the path that matches your environment:

ScenarioDescriptionWhen to choose
Direct production database accessAll configuration is performed in SEI, connecting directly to your live production Sage Intacct database. For a small or single-company setup needing only light, real-time reporting.
Via replicated data warehouseProduction data is replicated to a data warehouse using DataSync.
The template then reads from the warehouse.
For many users or frequent/complex reporting needs, to avoid slowing the main Sage Intacct database.
ConsolidatedCombines real-time access and DataSync replication using consolidation for central, multi-company reporting. For organizations managing multiple Sage Intacct companies needing combined or group reporting.
SEI CloudData is synced to the Cloud via DataSync. The template connects to Cloud-hosted data warehouse. Credentials are provided after cloud provisioning is complete. For distributed teams or those preferring no local server maintenance.
