Print

The Print feature allows you to create a formatted, printer-friendly version of the current visualization. You can preview it before printing or downloading it as a PDF. Before printing, ensure that the appropriate page setup is configured for optimal display in the printed file.

This feature is available for Views, Dashboards, Reports, and Workbooks.

When to use Print

  • Creating a hard copy: Create a physical copy of the visualization for presentations, reports, or to share with someone who prefers printed documents.
  • Exporting a snapshot: Save a static snapshot of your visualization to use as a printed reference or distribute as a PDF.
  • Presenting and reporting: Include a visualization in a printed report or presentation package.
  • Archiving visualizations: Archive a specific version in printed form for long-term reference.
  • Accessing offline: Access a visualization without relying on the internet, or a device.

  2. Double-click it or select Open from the context menu.
  3. Click the Sharing icon in the Toolbar panel on the right. It expands to show the submenu options.

  5. If a preview appears, review the visualization using the preview properties to confirm it appears as expected. Click the Print icon to continue.
  6. Select the appropriate print properties. You can select Cancel to return and adjust formatting if needed.
