Permission requirements

To ensure proper installation and operation, certain permissions must be granted for SEI and its components. Assigning the correct rights in advance can help prevent errors during setup and use.

General permissions

Component	Required Permissions
Web Server	If the Web Server is installed, assign full control rights to the folder where it is installed.
Scheduler	If the Scheduler is installed, assign full control rights to its installation folder.
Nectari program data	Assign full control rights to the following locations: C:\ProgramData\Nectari C:\ProgramData\Nectari\Settings\NectariUserSettings.xml (if this file exists)

Excel Add-in distribution

For environments that use the Excel Add-in, additional permissions are required. Manual setup steps are described in Configuring the Excel Add-in Distribution Worker .

• Access permissions for the Microsoft Excel Application component service
• Configuration permissions for the Microsoft Excel Application component service
• Full control rights on:
  • C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile
  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile
